Please ensure that you adhere to the following terms and conditions as a client of Galloway Vocals. This is for the benefit of both student and teacher, and to ensure that everyone has a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Anyone found not complying to these terms and conditions will risk lessons and teaching being terminated.
It is your responsibility to ensure you, your child or your group behave in an acceptable manner during the sessions. Any form of behaviour such as abusive, explicit or discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated. I reserve the right to terminate all lessons if I feel behaviour is unacceptable. In such a case, refunds will not be given.
The safety of our all involved in sessions is of the upmost importance. If you attend a face to face session with symptoms of COVID-19, I may refuse your entry to the lesson and no refund will be issued in such circumstances. Please keep regular contact with me on whether anyone in your family are showing symptoms and I can reschedule your session or move it onto zoom.
Although I teach in the Estill vocal method that in my opinion, is the most effective, on rare occasions, it isn’t for everyone. Communication is key, so if you, at any point, are not enjoying lessons, please get in contact to discuss how we can overcome this. If, at any time, you feel that there is a breach of professional conduct or you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, please bring it to my attention by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
Payment must be made before each lesson, through the website.
You must always inform your session leader if you wish to record parts of your lesson. Recording is encouraged, and permissions will be switched on on zoom for you to record the session, however, any recordings made without the full knowledge and consent of those in the room/participating in the session, may result in the termination of all future lessons.
For online sessions, I will always send a automated reminder with the Zoom details of your session the day before your lesson.
For group sessions, you must provide 1 adult per 20 children who are present during the whole duration of the masterclass or workshop. If the workshop leader arrives and there are no responsible adults able to be present throughout the whole session, then I reserve the right to refuse to present the session, and no refund will be given.
Now more than ever, life can get in the way. However, if you need to cancel your lesson strictly 48 hours notice is required to reschedule any one-to-one sessions or the full fee is payable. All rescheduling for online sessions is done online or via the wix app on the My Bookings page. Your Zoom link from your original session will automatically be carried over to your rescheduled session so please keep it handy. For in person sessions, strictly 48 hours notice is needed to reschedule a session. Again if this cut-off is missed you cannot reschedule and won't be eligible for a refund. This is the terms of both C Bechstein studios and the Liverpool Empire.
The 'My Bookings' Page is an automated online system and it will not let you reschedule if you miss the 48 hour cut-off, even by a few minutes. I do not have direct access to clients' online accounts and cannot override the system to grant any exceptions. Refunds are not offered once a session has been booked online. If you need help using the Reschedule feature on the My Bookings page, instructions are available on the Wix website.
To cancel a place on a Course or Workshop please email email@example.com. The refund policy is as follows: 30+ days: 90% refund 15-29 days: 50% refund 0-14 days: no refunds
If, on the rare occasion, I need to reschedule I will notify you at the earliest possible time and reschedule your lesson. If 24 hours notice is not possible you will be given the choice between a full refund and rescheduling your lesson.
For online sessions I will wait for 10 minutes for you to join the zoom session. If you have not joined the lesson after this time, I will end the lesson and no refund will be given.
Please DO NOT come to your online or in person session with any illness that might affect your voice as working on an ill voice can cause further damage. If this is the case please reschedule your session via the my bookings page.
